ICOFF-GASTEIZ, the Vitoria-Gasteiz international short film festival, will hold its second edition from May 6 to 11, 2024 at VITAL FUNDAZIOA KULTURUNEA.
It is a film contest that combines a national short film competition and the exhibition of small format cinematographic works awarded, nominated or participating in the best film festivals in the world and in international Spanish short film competitions.
ICOFF-GASTEIZ returns to the capital of the Basque Country thanks to VITAL FUNDAZIOA and VITORIA-GASTEIZ CITY HALL, in collaboration with IDARTE and GASTEIZ ON.
A festival co-directed by Álava filmmakers and cultural agents SONIA PACIOS and KEPA SOJO.
KEYS OF THE FESTIVAL
INTERNATIONALITY
The aim is to bring the best short films in the world closer to the Gasteiztarra and Alava public, without forgetting the Basque and Alava national and local films. It is the only audiovisual festival in the province of international scope
GIVE A VOICE TO AUDIOVISUAL CREATORS
The filmmakers of the selected short films are invited to present their works and discuss with the public the peculiarities of their work at the end of the screenings.
PROMOTION OF VITORIA GASTEIZ AND ÁLAVA
The city and province have hosted film shoots in recent years. We must promote the emblematic and peculiar places of our territory to the filmmakers who visit us, to attract new shoots.
